SXSW Survival Tips
Have you ever had a dream where you are surrounded by a million Smurfs and they won’t stop climbing on you, smiling and singing stupidly happy songs. If only you had a survival guide to help you outsmart them and break free. South By Southwest is a very similar experience. What started off as a tiny music festival in the 80’s has now grown into the largest tech conference on the planet. With over 1000 panels, 1600 speakers and a ton of parties and events, you can easily become so overwhelmed that you have no idea what to do.
While we were down in Austin this year we gathered some of our friends – some seasoned SXSW veterans, and others who are noobs – for a BBQ at the legendary Stubb’s and asked them what survival tips they had for fellow conference goers. Covering panels vs. networking parties, power naps, BBQ, pacing yourself and more, this video has a little for everyone. Check it out and get ready for SXSW 2012! It’ll be here before you know it.
