TechCrunch Disrupt 2011 Hits NYC

TechCrunch Disrupt NYC is almost here!  Disrupt is a unique event as it is the only conference that gathers the A-List entrepreneurial crowd along with hungry web innovators to generate potent content and conversation. This year, Arianna Huffington, Tim Armstrong, Dennis Crowley and a ton more will be sharing their knowledge with the crowds at Pier 94.

Kicking off the conference on Saturday, May 21st, is the popular Hackathon. It’s free to participants and offers a killer opportunity for developers to create and present a product to the Disrupt masses. …Not to mention the presenting teams will get free access to the conference itself.

Update: Hackathon participants should read below!

(mt) Media Temple will be present, at both the Hackathon and Disrupt. So, keep an eye out for our team members running around in their lovely (mt) shirts. Feel free to say hello. We’d love to chat and hear about your projects. We might even have some (mt) hosting goodies for you.

Party!

(mt) is ALSO throwing the party on Monday night at Good Units at Hudson. Come relax and enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere. *A conference badge is required. Hope to see you there!

UPDATE: Be Prepared!

Hackathon participants, if you want to save some money and resources while building the next Disrupt Hackathon winner, (mt) has you covered. As supporters of such voracious development, we’re contributing (ve) or (dv) service to each team participating in the Hackathon.

The (ve) is (mt)’s utility VPS, giving you control to assemble the environment you need and to serve your product flawlessly. BEFORE the Hackathon begins, follow the steps below to open a (ve) or (dv)4  512 GB, courtesy of (mt), and give your team a winning edge.
