The MySQL Slow Query Log is now available to all MySQL Container beta testers! The information this resource makes available is already proving to be an excellent starting point for optimizing applications for greater MySQL performance.
At around 1:15 AM PST Media Temple engineers successfully completed all of the necessary maintenance actions required to upgrade the Grid to GMR v.1.2 All of the features and enhancements that we have developed since the last GMR release are now available.

(mt) Media Temple is proud to announce the upcoming release of its second GRID system upgrade (GMR v.1.2).
Out of the three container sizes we’re considering, we’ve found our smallest size container handles 80% of the heaviest users we’ve put on there.
