What is DevOps?

Last week, the (mt) crew headed to Santa Monica for the 3rd Socal DevOps Meetup at McCabe’s Bar in Santa Monica, CA to catch up with some of the best and brightest DevOps pros LA has to offer.

DevOps is the job no-one can define without heated discussion while being one of the most critical pieces of any IT-centric business.  It’s certainly a large part of our up time-obsessed lives’ here at (mt) so we sat down with some of the brightest DevOps professionals in southern California to gain clarity on their roles.  After a few pints and some (mt) swag bribery, we captured some interesting if not impassioned commentary on this delicate subject.
